Kyndell & Dan | Black Butte Ranch Wedding | Destination & Gig Harbor Wedding Wedding Photographer

I loved traveling to Bend Oregon for Kyndell and Dan's wedding at Black Butte Ranch! Although we didn't get the snow we were all hoping for, we got every other extreme case of weather, that we weren't necessarily hoping for. The tent they were supposed to get married in outdoors started blowing away hours before the ceremony. Literally, blowing, away. A tree fell down just feet away from it, and it was raining sideways. Hey PNW winter weather! Through the bit of chaos we had in the beginning of the day, Kyndell remained the most calm, chill and relaxed bride I have ever spent time with. Ever. We ran out and braved the elements for photos and these two weren't phased one bit. My kind of people right here. While we tried not to get blown away and get some awesome photos, they quickly moved the ceremony indoors and it was literally STUNNING. Melanie's flowers on the arbor looked incredible against the wood of the building, the clouds parted a bit and the sun poured through the windows just as the ceremony begun. People lined up the stairs throughout the layers of the lodge and overlooked the ceremony as the wind howled in the background of their vows, and after the ceremony, they were down for more adventures in the weather. I just don't understand how through all of this Kyndell still managed to look INCREDIBLE, but I'll let the photos speak for themselves. This was such an amazing day and just goes to show you that the little things that may change your day don't matter as much as the memories you'll make together. These two will always have the wind to remind them of this day and the promises they made to each other. This was my first Oregon wedding and now I just want more! :)
