Jessica posted in a Facebook wedding group a couple months back about needing a wedding photographer sort of last minute, as there were problems with the one she had already booked. I typically feel like it's just a big battle for attention in those Facebook comment threads when someone asks for a photographer recommendation as there ends up just being a sea of replies, but I went ahead and threw myself into the waters and as soon as Jessica and I started talking, I think we both felt something pulling us together. THESE are my people. I was so excited to make this work, it was my last open weekend of the summer, and everything just worked out perfectly. Melanie, of Melanie Faun Photography (my girrrrrl), second shot this with me and we both left that wedding with tear streaks down our faces. Hands down, the most emotional, love and support filled wedding day I've been a part of. Nothing makes me happier than working with people exactly like THIS. Rutherford and Jessica are two of the most kind people in the world, and I just think they should have about 18 more kids because the world needs more people like them. These two brought 4 kids of their own together to make one big family, and damn do they look good together! I'll let the following photos speak for themselves.
